Drone Association Thailand attended the “8th Focus Group Meeting (2nd Sector-Specific Civil Aviation Policy Action Plan) under the Thailand Air Transport Development Plan Project (2023–2037) and the Sector-Specific Civil Aviation Policy Action Plan,” organized by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT).
Meeting Details
This meeting was held to gather feedback, reflect stakeholder recommendations, and set key strategic direction from participants across the aviation industry. It took place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 08:30–16:30 at the Chuan Chom 1 Room, Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok. The target groups included the aircraft manufacturing industry, airline operators, the unmanned aircraft sector, as well as academic institutions and related agencies.
The Association's Role and Importance
Drone Association Thailand is a key stakeholder helping to voice input that shapes national direction and policy for developing the civil aviation system of the future.
This represents an important opportunity for the unmanned aircraft sector to help shape the direction of Thailand's civil aviation policy in this new era.
