The Drone Association of Thailand (DAT) visited the Taiwan Drone Racing and UAV Promotion Association (TDRUPA) in Taiwan to discuss avenues for cooperation in drone technology development, organizing competition events, and promoting Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) knowledge exchange between the two nations.
Meeting and Exchange of Ideas
The meeting between the two associations was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where both associations presented information on their respective operations. The Taiwanese side shared its experience in organizing domestic drone competitions, including strategies to encourage youth involvement in UAV technology. The Thai side, in turn, exchanged information regarding the development of Thailand's drone industry and the potential of Thai entrepreneurs in drone manufacturing and commercial applications.
Visit and Drone Technology Demonstration
The delegation from Thailand also visited the TDRUPA exhibition center. The center showcased various types of drones, including racing, agricultural, and training models, and displayed awards and certificates the association had received from its past activities, demonstrating the robustness of Taiwan’s drone sector.
Strengthening Relations and Souvenirs Exchange
On this occasion, both associations exchanged souvenirs to signify their friendship and intention to develop future cooperation. They further discussed opportunities for organizing joint activities, such as international drone competitions, expert exchange programs, and the joint development of drone education and training projects.
Strengthening Future Cooperation
This visit marks another significant step in the cooperation between Thailand and Taiwan in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology, which will lead to the elevation of competition standards and knowledge development in the region.
