From October 3–5, 2025, the Drone Association Thailand, led by Mr. Chanyawat Chartanulak, President of the Drone Association of Thailand, and association members, participated in the “TAIWAN SELECT – Sourcing Taiwan 2025” event in Taichung, Taiwan. The event was organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to promote business cooperation among entrepreneurs from various countries, especially in the fields of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology and the advanced electronics industry.
At the event, the delegation from Drone Association Thailand engaged in business matching and discussions with several Taiwanese companies specializing in drone systems, flight control equipment, sensor systems, and Smart Mobility technology. The purpose was to exchange technological expertise, including exploring opportunities for joint product development and future commercial cooperation.
The atmosphere at the event was lively and friendly, featuring technical information exchange, product demonstrations, and discussions on trends in the Asian Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) market. This marks another significant step in building a collaborative network between Thai and Taiwanese entrepreneurs.
In addition, representatives from Drone Association Thailand also participated in the Business Matching and Networking Sessions. This served as a key platform for connecting business partners across Taiwan’s public and private sectors, with a particular focus on high-potential manufacturers of next-generation Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology.
The Association hopes that its participation in this event will serve as a catalyst for the continuous development of collaborative networks between Thailand and Taiwan. This initiative is expected to lead to the advancement of technology and innovation within Thailand’s unmanned aerial vehicle industry, thereby elevating the nation's capabilities to international standards.
